My Testimony
The Anecdote to Modern Stress
Life is hard. It always has been and it sure isn't getting any easier. Despite the many blessings I've been given, life is still challenging. This website, created by D. Lanier Shook, stands as a testimony to God and the support He has provided to carry me through those struggles. As a part of my journey in content creation, I reflect on how travel journalism can offer new perspectives during tough times.
Although I was raised in a God-fearing home by loving parents who sought to honor Him, life has still been ... life. Salvation in Christ has been what brought me through those struggles. God's Word and the fellowship of my brothers and sisters in Christ have supported me throughout these challenges. Each day presents a new battle, but by submitting myself to the leadership of The Spirit, the path is made clear.
It's not an easy journey, but it is possible through Christ who strengthens me. He knows what will happen and, as I submit to Him, guides me through the chaos. The first step in that submission was becoming a Christian. If you want help, guidance, and stability in your life, just click here to learn how you, too, can find peace and hope, even in the worst of circumstances.
